We are a family owned farm offering guided trail rides in Kentucky's beautiful Bluegrass region.

Located not too far from Shaker Village in an area of beautiful meadows, forests and rolling hills, Big Red Stables welcomes riders of all ages and experience levels to experience a day on the farm on our smooth Tennessee Walking and Spotted Saddle horses.

Advanced Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

English riders are welcome to bring own tack, including saddle pad and girth.
We provide riding helmets, which are required for persons under age 18. You are welcome to bring your own helmet too. Boots and jeans are not provided but highly recommended.

Please note that we have a 220 lbs. weight limit and 12 year old minimum age limit with some exceptions to the 12 year age limit for children who have had riding lessons.
